Brick House to debut Neptune at NAB 2004

Neptune, the new low cost, compact, high specification, flexible and feature rich Dual SDI Frame Synchronizer by Brick House Video, is to make its US Debut in Booth SU 8546 at NAB 2004.
The new unit joins Brick House Video’s suite of award-winning, innovative, compact and cost-effective production and post-production products.
Neptune, developed for use in a wide range of studio, edit suite, OB and transmission environments, comprises two fully independent SDI framestore synchronizers in a 1RU chassis. It was designed with standard 10 bit SDI inputs and a range of analogue and digital input options for flexible signal acquisition. SDI and composite analogue (monitoring) outputs are included as standard.
The unit can be configured as two fully independent channels or as an intelligent switch that selects the 'best' input based on criteria determined by the operator. In dual (redundant) path applications, the dual frame architecture allows a disturbance-free transition from a failing signal to a good signal.
Comprehensive local controls for signal levels and timing adjustments are integrated as well as an industry standard control interface for remote and automation applications. Internal test signal and source ident insertion facilities are included as well. Neptune can operate as a stand-alone unit or be genlocked to station reference.
Embedded audio synchronizers and level adjustments are available as an option in addition to the standard 'transparent' audio processing features.
