SSL MTP MAKES SATIS DEBUT

SOLID State Logic have demonstrated their recently introduced MT Production console (MTP) at SATIS in Paris.
Addressing the needs of the broadcast and emerging mobiles markets, MTP is designed for operations seeking a powerful yet compact application-specific solution to the most ambitious television production.
MTP embodies a host of new features only made possible by SSL’s advanced HS Control Processing, a new and powerful processing engine that gives operators more options, increased responsiveness and greater information feedback, especially important for surround sound mixing.
Featuring comprehensive snapshot reset, flexible subgroup bussing and full multi-format surround sound capabilities, MTP has a compact, lightweight frame some 30 per cent lighter and 20 per cent narrower than MT Plus and is optimised for space-conscious multi-track television, and music/entertainment environments.
Utilising SSL’s proven and popular in-line, knob-per-function ergonomic design, MTP combines an in-line architecture with simultaneous multi-channel surround-sound outputs to ensure maximum format flexibility for programme material. In television production applications, the console’s flexible busses support clean feeds, mix-minus outputs and full multitrack back-up capabilities.
MTP also provides a configurable panning and output bus structure that allows its 12 main mix busses to support flexible and powerful arrangements such as simultaneous dual 5:1 outputs for international versions.
Comprehensive control grouping, snapshot/reset capabilities and selectable automation complete the versatile package.
