HARRIS BROADCAST APPOINT NEW MD
HARRIS Broadcast have appointed Roland Eid to the position of managing director of Harris, Rennes (ITIS), their digital broadcasting R&D unit based in Rennes, France.
IT IS products have won market leadership in DAB and DVB-T installations around the world.
Eid will report directly to Eduard Schlauch, managing director of Harris Broadcast Europe. Eid will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the R&D operation and will coordinate the activities of the business as part of a cohesive Harris Broadcast Europe group.
Eid joined Harris in September 1993 as a senior financial analyst, and has held positions of increasing responsibility in sales management and customer service. He holds BA and MBA degrees in international management from the University of Baldwin Wallace in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to joining Harris, Eid served as Assistant Vice President in charge of International Banking at KeyBank Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio.
