Eyeheight introduces typeCast line identifier
Eyeheight has introduced its new typecast SDI line identifier, featuring a wide range of applications in television master control and monitoring.
It enables up to 64 characters of line identification text to be generated and superimposed on incoming video. An internal test pattern generator provides a background image in the absence of source video. Studio-to-studio communications or line identification text can be generated on a standard PS-2 qwerty keyboard or downloaded from an external source using an Eyeheight DG-9 dongle.
typeCast is designed to allow fast and easy operation via an on-screen menu system or directly from an Eyeheight Flexi-Panel pushbutton control unit. Up to six line identifier modules can be accommodated in the 1 U chassis or a combination of typeCast and other Eyeheight modular products.
