Popwire announce release of Compression Master 2.2 encoder

Popwire announces the release of Compression Master 2.2 MacOS X-based media content encoder.
Popwire claim the state-of-the-art desktop encoder is perfect for broadcasting companies, media houses, ISPs, and mobile operators with the need to provide high-quality content in multiple bit rates.
Compression Master provides video editors with a quick and easy way to encode in a large variety of formats. Some of the enhancements in this release are support for Watermark, 3:2 pull down, GUI improvements as well as performance optimisation.
Users will also find enhancements in support of formats like a new and improved H.263, optimised and improved MPEG-4, new AAC, DV stream input, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 output as well as support for RealVideo and RealAudio.
Compression Master operates via drag-and-drop approach and the user interface provides an overview of available options. It can act as a stand-alone product or as an essential part of an automated workflow with Compression Engine - Popwire’s server based encoder. Compression Master’s intuitive interface sets and edits Compression Engine’s Watchfolder parameters and settings to simplify and automate the encoding and transcoding process.
Used together, Compression Master and Compression Engine are designed to offer a seamless workflow between content providers and content distributors.
