Murraypro release 'self-righting' compact LCD monitor

Murraypro, the innovative electronic design and manufacturing specialists, has released its latest compact LCD monitor, Uni-Vu, at Video Forum.
Featuring an impressive X/Y axis image auto-correct function, the Uni-Vu provides high quality monitoring facilities in a compact, freestanding 3.5” LCD unit, supplied with a gimbal mounting.
Designed to be mounted on or close to the camera when a colour viewfinder is not available, Uni-Vu is well suited to situations where space is at a premium or a compact weatherproof display is required, such as the tailgate cable port of a SNG or OB vehicle.
The case is sealed to IP645 and is shower proof under normal conditions, but the Uni-Vu is not specified for immersion in water. The connectors provide an IP65 seal to the case interior when mated, but the connector internal surfaces are not specified for exposure to moisture and must be protected by caps when not mated.
The Uni-Vu is housed in a sturdy yet lightweight reinforced plastic case, while the LCD panel is protected by a resilient 2mm thick polycarbonate screen, the front surface of which is finished with a micro-stipple texture to reduce internal reflections and ensure optimum visibility under all operating conditions.
The external screen is also protected with a scratch resistant finish for a long operational life.
