'Call The Midwife' Renewed For Two More Series

Hit BBC drama 'Call The Midwife' has been renewed for two more series.

Series nine of the show is set to start filming, with 10 and 11 expected to follow in the coming years.

This announcement comes as the drama's eighth series remains the highest rating returning drama across all UK channels in 2019.

Call The Midwife is produced by Neal Street Productions.

Heidi Thomas continues to lead the writing team with Pippa Harris as Executive Producer for Neal Street Productions. Executive Producer for the BBC is Mona Qureshi with Ann Tricklebank as Producer.

The show will return for a Christmas Special later this year and in 2020 for series nine.
