PHABRIX To Display Test And Measurement Solutions At CABSAT

News Image
PHABRIX will be displaying its full range of hybrid IP/SDI, 4K/UHD, HDR/WCG and HD ready test and measurement solutions at CABSAT 2019 in Hall 2, Booth G2-32.

PHABRIX's top of the range Qx Series will be on show at CABSAT, offering the latest hybrid IP/SDI test and measurement tools required for the transition to the next generation of video formats. Qx IP, with ST 2110 (-10/20/30/40) and PTP and ST 2022-7 support is the world’s first fully flexible rasterizer for IP analysis, generation and monitoring. The Qx IP's features include multiple Packet Interval Timing (PIT) histograms for monitoring signal flows, and 2022-7 'hitless' flow reconstruction.

The Qx Series' new SDI STRESS option provides an advanced toolset for SDI interface stress testing which, together with the fast, automated 12G-SDI physical layer analysis with RTE™ (Real-Time Eye) technology, provides a world-class solution to SMPTE compliance verification.

Adding to its already comprehensive PQ HDR toolset, the Qx Series also now offers support for Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and S-Log3, enhancing the visualization and analysis of 4K/UHD and HD content. The series’ new remote interface will also be demonstrated, employing VNC technology to deliver up to 16 simultaneous scalable instruments per window backed by a new powerful preset mechanism.

Rx Series – Advanced rasterizers for 2K/3G/HD/SD signal generation, analysis and monitoring
Ideal for broadcast QC in the studio, MCR or live production truck, the Rx Rasterizer Series delivers 2K/3G/HD/SD signal generation, analysis and monitoring for faster compliance testing and fault diagnosis of video and audio. Its ultra-flexible, user-defined instrument layout can present up to 16 instruments simultaneously, ranging from full screen to 1/16 screen. PHABRIX will demonstrate the Rx’s advanced diagnostics tools at CABSAT, including RTE™ (Real-Time Eye) and jitter physical layer analysis instruments, plus closed caption, loudness and Dolby® monitoring. The Rx is a fully featured rasterizer at an exceptional price point.

Sx Series – Portable generators/analyzers for hybrid IP/SDI and Eye/Jitter testing
PHABRIX will be demonstrating its renowned range of handheld Sx instruments at CABSAT, offering advanced capabilities including hybrid IP/3G/HD/SD performance and physical layer testing. With over 6000 units shipped worldwide, the Sx is the Broadcast industry’s most popular handheld instrument offering exceptional mobility in an easy to use, easy to carry format. The Sx Series has a brand new Audio/Video Delay option which combines a programmable AV test signal generator with an automatic AV delay analyzer providing the ability to track audio to video timing within a signal chain.
