Finepoint Broadcast To Attend ISE 2019
Finepoint Broadcast is attending the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam for Integrated Systems Europe 2019.
The show will this year be supported by over 1,300 exhibiting companies and is expected by its organisers to attract more than 80,000 attendees.
"ISE has grown in importance over the years and become the world's largest exhibition of AV technology," comments Finepoint Broadcast's Managing Director, Giles Bendig. "A four-day event running from 10 am on Tuesday February 5th through to 4 pm on Friday February 8th, the exhibition and its parallel conference provide a useful opportunity to get direct experience of new hardware, software and industry trends, often ahead of announcements in the various online sources.
"ISE feels at times like a fusion between IFA and IBC, especially in product areas such as video displays where the need for touchscreen facilities has become increasingly important in applications such as training and teleconferencing. Like any major trade show, ISE provides a useful neutral ground for meeting suppliers as well as customers.
"The only negative is that the show is clearly outgrowing the RAI venue. ISE's planned move to the Fira de Barcelona in 2021 will provide scope for greater expansion. The new location should also prove more popular with visitors and exhibitor staff in terms of climate."
"The AV market has caught on to the IT aspect in recent years," added AV Sales Manager Paul MacKenzie. "This has led to increased demand for AV solutions which will integrate directly into IP networks and support today's increasingly mobile workforce."
"Most of our customers are looking for solutions that will enhance their existing AV environments using IP and high resolution digital networks, rather than having to re-invest completely. Our focus is on hardware and software apps that can be combined into efficient and easy-to-operate systems for users and AV/IT managers, rather than seeing clients getting locked into restrictive single brand or proprietary platforms."
