Periscope Studios Creates Animated Explainer Video For Smoove Move

Periscope Studios was recently asked to create an animated explainer video for Smoove Move - a new app which helps people move house effortlessly.

The app can help users find a new mortgage, get deals on energy and broadband, and also connects to local tradespeople.

Periscope took screengrabs of each screen in the app and created a walkthrough of the app in After Effects, comping in green screen footage of a hand pressing the relevant parts of the app interface as they're mentioned.

The animation was completed within two weeks. David Sciama, co-founder of Smoove Move, was delighted with the result and thanked Periscope for completing the animation so quickly.

Periscope was also asked to storyboarded and animate an advert for social media to encourage tradespeople to sign up to the app. It shows tradespeople building a wall with snippets from the voice-over on the front of each brick.
