Freesat Adds Sony Movie Channel

Freesat has added the Sony Movie Channel to its linear line-up.

Offering a wide range of blockbusters featuring the biggest Hollywood stars, Sony Movie Channel broadens Freesat's portfolio of films and is available for customers to watch, for free, on channel 302.

For two weeks in October the channel's 'Heroes Season' features some of the greatest movie heroes of all time at 9pm every night, including Ghost Rider, Enemy of the State, I Am Wrath and Charlie's Angels, while the channel's 'Friday Night Film Club' brings viewers some absolute must-see movies, such as Superbad, Con Air, The Sixth Sense, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Stepbrothers.

For Halloween later this month, Sony Movie Channel offers a spooky double on the 31st October, featuring Ghostbusters II and The Others, and in November, fans of Hollywood star Julia Roberts can enjoy the channel’s premiere of Eat Prey Love, followed by one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time, Pretty Woman.
