LCA introduce new range of lighting

Lighting Supplier LCA (Lights, Camera, Action) have introduced 'Filmgear', a new range of lighting to the film and television industry.
The range consists of Daylight Fresnels at 575w, 1.2kw, 2.5kw, 4kw and 6kw, with Pars of 575w, 1.2kw, 6kw and 12kw, as well as a 2kw and 6kw space light. The units are being distributed by LCA to the European, Australian, New Zealand, Middle East and African markets.
Nick Shapley, Managing Director at LCA, stated that LCA have listened to a huge number of their customers to ensure the quality of the light is exactly up to their expectations. Along the way, they have made changes as requested by lighting directors and directors of photography. They firmly believe Filmgear is "the next generation of lighting."
LCA are currently working with the international market. They say that with a product range the size Filmgear will become, they will need to organise the right distribution network: "people who are tuned in to the broadcasters, film and television rental companies."
The LCA team are all established names in the industry, and are headed by Nick Shapley and Graham Kerr, together with Martin Carnell, Dave Short, Phil Mallia, Alan Keane and Victoria Mann.
Combined, the team have almost 70 years of experience.
