Multi Media Replication to offer ‘DVD on Demand’

Multi Media Replication is to announce its new ‘DVD on Demand’ service at Video Forum, to be held in Wembley, from February 10-12 2004.
DVD on Demand gives the customer the power to choose what they want on their discs rather than being stuck with someone else’s preferences – as an example, from the web or a kiosk users can pick the tracks they want on a music video or the goals they thought best on a sports compilation.
DVD on Demand is a full end-to-end service, encoding video clips, producing a customised web site to enable the user to compile their disc, taking payment and finally, producing, packing and despatching the DVDs with a delivery note and invoice.
As well as giving the consumer power to choose, it enables content owners to make content available in a way that could not easily be achieved by traditional manufacturing methods.
The cost of preparing a clip for DVD on Demand is low and the system thereafter is fully automated using DVD Recordable technology, including personalised menus, disc labels and case inserts.
