Panasonic LUMIX DC-GH5S Camera Tested And Approved

The new Panasonic LUMIX DC-GH5S has been tested, and can now be approved by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for high definition content acquisition.

"The GH5S achieves our highest-ever sensitivity and video image quality in the history of LUMIX cameras, and we're delighted to have passed the R.118 performance tests of the EBU."
 
The LUMIX GH5S realises the world's first 4K 60p / 50p video recording in Cinema 4K (4096x2160). The GH5S is capable of internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording for even stronger colour reproduction, while V-Log comes pre-installed on the camera. The GH5S now also provides the photographer with 14-bit RAW recording, providing greater flexibility within professional RAW development workflows.
 
Panasonic has also recently partnered with VICE UK to launch 'VICE Film School'; a UK-wide multimedia platform and talent programme dedicated to championing emerging documentary filmmakers.
