Interconnection Is Important For Managing Industry Change - Matt George
BFV talks to Matt George, Equinox Senior Manager EMEA UK, about the importance of interconnection and BVE's industry importance.
Equinix is the global interconnection leader that specialises in internet connection and operates almost 200 data centres worldwide.
Questioned on interconnectivity and its role moving forward, Mr George highlighted the industry ecosystem and its importance to ensure consumer satisfaction: "Over the last 5 years the way content is created, managed and produced has totally changed. That's driven by some of the advances in technology, but also by consumer demand. Interconnection is needed to navigate the change."
Mr George elaborated on interconnectivity, as well as putting a huge emphasis on being "cloud-ready". He also highlighted the "good space" BVE has in the industry.
