Enterprise Award

News Image
After receiving two awards for the Enterprise it is no surprise that the response to the latest iteration launched during IBC2017 is exceeding expectation.

Indeed, portable monitoring and verification of streams has never been easier, with the new Hamlet Enterprise VX3 its dual 10Gb/s interface accommodates higher bitrate flows over IP networks.

Like its award-winning siblings, it's good to go out of the box, the "one-box" approach integrating the essential interfaces to analyze and troubleshoot the end-to-end service without the need for clunky dongles and cable runs.

Video production and transport over high capacity IP networks is a reality and here to stay. With the emergence of new networking technologies, ranging from 10G/s to 100Gb/s COTS switching planes, to standardization of numerous formats such as JPEG 2000, ASPEN, SMPTE 2022 and 2110 to name a few.

There seems little doubt that the broadcast media industry is in the midst of the biggest technology shift since the introduction of high definition. The solution for those on the move is clearly outlined in the Hamlet Enterprise VX3.

Based upon the award-winning Hamlet Enterprise VX2 technology, the new Enterprise VX3 carries forward all the versatility and functionality with a new dual 10Gb/s interface to accommodate for high bitrate media flows over IP networks, providing the one and only portable, ideal monitoring and verification platform.

The Hamlet Enterprise VX3 can acquire, decode and analyze a wide variety of media flows across a wide range of physical interfaces. The latest tool box of options to choose from includes Dual IP, ASI input and output, RF, SFP, HS/SDI interfaces with deep IP stream packet interrogation quality of service to TR 101290. Users choose from IP and/or ASI only operation or can include OTT, HDSDI and/or RF input operation, with SFP inputs if required.

Hamlet is also pleased to announce the latest Hamlet MSC FC, FS, and UFC switchers and converters are so flexible it's possible to select a variety of I/Os for those that seek fibre to serial digital solutions and vice-versa. With or without plug-in module SFPs up to 12G, the new MSC-XDM modular SDI routers offer extremely high level flexibility, with three base models enabling optimization of operation and unit cost.

Each unit is user expandable with even HDMI SFPs, with optical fibre operating distances of up to 10km. Modular systems can be independently expanded by 8 input or 8 output modular I/O cards, allowing for asymmetrical matrix sizes.

Hamlet, known for offering best of breed, value for money, support, service and advice, continues to ensure the best solution for the job at the right price.
