BBC Broadcast create FA Cup trails

BBC Broadcast have created trails for the third round of the FA Cup, featuring the boxing promoter Don King.
The trails will air on December 22 across the BBC on television, radio and online and will run until May. There will also be a poster campaign to coincide with the trails.
BBC Broadcast wrote and produced the trails and poster campaign. The trails, titled 'It don’t need no Don', focus on the unique and dramatic nature of the FA Cup.
Don King explains how he would run the FA Cup, making it an ‘FA Bowl’ with cheerleaders and the chance for the champions to get back in the competition if they are knocked out.
Charlie Mawer, Executive Creative Director, BBC Broadcast said: “The FA Cup is such an exciting competition to follow as it puts all football teams on an equal par. Using Don King in the trails illustrates the fact that the FA Cup doesn’t need any hype as it is one of a kind and different from other sporting competitions.”
