Smart & Clever: Zero Driving Emission Applications Exhibited At IBC 2017

Zero Emission Marathon Tracking Vehicle

A world novelty in Broadcast and Cine productions, WIM ROBBERECHTS has developed a very compact turnkey, zero-emission tracking vehicle solution for sports events, such as marathons, providing the DynaX5 5-axis stabilized head, including 4K option and a live video uplink.

The first Zero Emission Snowmobile

Another world novelty in Broadcast and Cine productions, HS-DynaX5 Cam Solution GmbH presents the first electrical snowmobile equipped with a 5-axis camera stabilization and real-time video transmission system.

The Gimbal can be equipped with various Broadcast and Cine cameras and lenses.

Operating Panel

The DynaX5 has a unique ergonomic and state-of-the-art operating panel. Its touchscreen features a Soft-RCP for different cameras, such as Sony, ARRI ALEXA Mini, RED, Panasonic, Blackmagic URSA Mini/Pro, and Grass Valley (others on request).

This allows handling critical camera settings directly by the operator, in addition to an optional external RCP in the OB-truck.

One unique feature ideal for aerial ENG operations is the AUTO-ND feature, which will automatically change the ND filter, when the (motorized) extender is engaged or disengaged, making iris adjustments obsolete in most environments.

In addition to groundspeed, height, and various gimbal and lens data, the operating panel will also show the turret position relative to the aircraft in user-friendly clock-readout, allowing for intuitive communication between pilot and operator.
