HHB Supply Avid S6 To Futureworks

HHB Communications has supplied and installed an Avid S6 in a recent project to Futureworks.

Located in Manchester's Media Hub, Futureworks School of Media provides education and training in Sound, Music Production, Film & TV, Games, Animation and Visual Effects. The purpose-built facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art studios and high-spec production facilities.

HHB supplied and installed an Avid 32 fader, M40 S6 control surface to Futureworks, an Avid Learning Partner.

Working with Rob Magoolagan, Head of the School and Avid Pro Tools Master Instructor, HHB installed and commissioned the S6 over two days. Futureworks replaced their Avid D-Control Icon in their main film mixing studio with a large format Avid S6. The system is a 32 fader M40 configuration in a seven-foot frame. Also supplied was an Avid MTRX audio interface frame, set up to provide surround sound monitoring.
