Murraypro Celebrates 20 Years at IBC

This year will be a double first for Murraypro in Amsterdam as they celebrate not only their 20th year of exhibition at IBC, but also their 45th year of trading.

Founded in 1972 and initially producing bespoke hardware for television's Post Production industry in London's Soho, Murraypro developed and released 'CAGE' the world's first commercially available 'Safe Area' cursor generator.

CAGE has enjoyed a process of continuous development and is still available today. Indeed, many hundreds of these have been sold to the broadcast industry throughout the world.

Murraypro has always produced audio monitoring and metering products, and their miniature "PICO" meter with its BBC peak program characteristics rapidly rose to become a classic in the UK broadcast industry, with several thousand sold over two decades.

During the noughties, Murraypro produced their bijou range of widely used "Ez" colour LCD displays, replacing those hot and power-hungry mini 2, 3 and 4 U monochrome CRT monitors. Their popular and compact Octo-Vu monitor offered eight separate high-resolution colour screens in only 1U, was very widely used and installed within many facilities.

Test Chest stars on Murraypro's Stand B-38 in Hall 8 where the latest developments, including AES Eye monitoring, are shown. All visitors are most welcome to our continuous demonstrations of Test Chest and its baby brother TV Eye.
