Talent Circle and Avid launch ‘Super Shorts’ competition

Talent Circle, the UK's fastest growing free website for new and emerging filmmakers, have joined forces with Avid to launch Super Shorts, a nationwide search to find great films that are literally 'super short', no longer than two minutes.
With two minutes to tell a story filmmakers are challenged to find ways to captivate the audience in a short space of time. This will mean finding ways to make the audience laugh, cry, be shocked or surprised in less than two minutes.
Entry is free and open to all UK residents aged sixteen and above.
Super Shorts will be a rewarding competition for the new and emerging filmmakers that it is aimed at.
Talent Circle's key aim is to develop UK based talent and with Avid offering an amazing piece of software for the winner and judges from the Film Council and other industry organisations, this is one filmmaking competition that will not go unnoticed. There will be further prizes for all 10 finalists and an awards ceremony in early 2004 to showcase the entries and announce the overall winner.
For information on the competition please visit www.supershorts.co.uk or www.talentcircle.co.uk.
