Barco supply Digital Cinema projectors to Belgium

Barco have received an order to provide 10 Digital Cinema projectors to Kinepolis, Belgium’s leading Cinema group.
The order, confirming Kinepolis’s reputation as one of the worlds most technologically innovative cinema companies also, at a stroke, places them amongst the industry’s top chains in terms of digital deployment.
Barco are installing their projectors alongside servers from EVS Digital Cinema (located in Liege) to screen the latest Hollywood digital movie blockbusters, plus in future perhaps also HDTV sports and entertainment content provided by the Belgian Euro1080 broadcast company.
In addition, through a pioneering arrangement with Screenvision, Europe’s largest cinema advertising contractor, Kinepolis is now also uniquely placed to display reference quality digital cinema advertising.
