Barco And AHL Group Technology Commence New Digital Cinema Roll-Out

Barco, a leading provider of digital cinema technology, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHL) for the exclusive supply of its new DP2K projectors in Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHL) will install 150 digital cinema projectors in 2010, with a planned expansion to a total of 1,100 screens worldwide over the next three to four years.
Peter Della Tolla, Managing Director of Barco Systems in Australia, said: "The digital cinema market in Australia is growing rapidly and Barco is pleased to be part of it. AHL is just one of the many ongoing installations in this region and we are confident many more will follow.
