Polar Graphics announce Medea VideoRaid pricing

Polar Graphics have announced availability and pricing for Medéa's VideoRaid RT3 and VideoRaid RT3X disk arrays.
These latest additions to Medéa's award winning line of VideoRaid disk arrays combine the cost benefit of being an ATA-based RAID storage solution with the performance benefit of having a high-performance Ultra320 SCSI interface.
"These new products offer users high-performance uncompressed SD RealTime and HD capable storage from prices as low as £2.55+VAT per Gbyte, which is an incredible £2550+VAT per Tbyte", said Garry Davis Technical director of Polar Graphics, "Once again Medea have produced a great product at a great price without sacrificing quality as these arrays like all other Medea SCSI and fibre channel products come with a 3 year warranty".
The VideoRaid RT3 features a single-channel Ultra320 SCSI interface and is able to support real-time playback of multiple SD video streams and will also capture and playback 8-bit, 1080/24p HD footage. The VideoRaid RT3 comes in a five drive compact desktop enclosure is available in capacities of up to 1250 Gbytes (1.25 Tbytes), enough space for over 13 hours of 10-bit uncompressed SD footage.
