Huge Systems introduce new SD support products

Huge Systems, a leading storage solutions provider to the non-linear editing and content creation markets, is expanding their MediaVault family of products with two new product lines, the MediaVault-U320-S (fixed disk) and MediaVault-U320-R (removable disk).
The entire MediaVault U320 product family supports recording and playback of high quality video including 1080i HD at 10 bits or up to six uncompressed SD video streams. Every MediaVault U320 features an Ultra320 SCSI interface for sustained read/write speeds in excess of 200 MegaBytes per second (MBps) per SCSI channel and can be configured for either RAID 0 (performance) or RAID 3 (protected) operation. Lightweight (20 lbs.) and portable (7”x11”x17”), the new MediaVault-U320 can fit into even the tightest spaces.
The Huge MediaVault-320-S-Max and 320-R-Max include a single Ultra320 SCSI interface and five (fixed or removable) disks. They are available in four storage configurations from 600 MegaBytes (MB) through 1.25 TeraBytes (TB) of total storage.
Both product lines are designed for true Plug-and-Play operation with Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix and SGI computers. High performance power supplies and cooling fans insure that all MediaVault products provide trouble-free operation under a wide variety of conditions.
