CueScript Launches New Prompting Solutions


CueScript has announced that it will unveil two new products at BVE 2017.

PTZ cameras are used across a range of productions and sectors – from news and sports to Houses of Worship and education. Using a prompter display with a PTZ camera restricts the operation of the PTZ as they are not designed to work with prompting units. However, to address this issue, CueScript has set about to improve the mounting and operational issues.

With a patent pending, CueScript has developed a mounting system whereby the PTZ camera mounts upside down in the top of a specially designed prompter hood. Mounting the system this way removes the need for expensive tripods and makes using a lighting stand possible. The PTZ has greater movement in the shots it can achieve, and users are able to choose from a 15” – 19” LED display system.

The CueScript wireless 'WAND' scroll control will also make its debut at BVE 2017. Wireless presenter hand controls in a studio are a common tool in productions, and the WAND improves upon current market offerings with IP-based connectivity, greater battery life, the ability to have unlimited controllers in a studio complex and simplified operation for the presenter.

In addition, CueScript will demonstrate a complete IP based prompting solution at the London show. The 'CueiT' prompting software has been designed and built from broadcasters' feedback, and offers greater flexibility, ease of use, and a shareware style allowing CueiT to be loaded onto every laptop/PC in the facility.

The 'CueB' offers connection over Ethernet or via USB and the connectivity of near limitless scroll controllers, as well produces a true HD-SDI prompting signal, and a composite video signal. Multiple CueB's can run independently or simultaneously, and can be rack mounted in the C.A.R or anywhere in a studio complex.

CueScript will exhibit on Stand Q4 at BVE 2017.
