NTP Unveils Trade Show Line-Up

News Image
NTP Technology has confirmed it will be in attendance at BVE in London (28 February – 2 March), the LLB Sound Light & Image exhibition in Oslo (1 – 3 March), and NAB Show 2017 in Las Vegas (24 to 27 April).

At the shows, the company will demonstrate the AX32 which provides transparent audio signal processing and flexible distribution. Version 2.0 firmware includes an expanded switching matrix with 1,500 x 1,500 non-blocking cross-points for routing and splitting any input to one or more outputs. Each input and output channel has its own level control and audio metering. All signal sources and destinations can be assigned a label which is then stored. The summing system has a capacity of 32 output buses and 256 inputs which can be used for Pro | Mon monitor control as well as the Cue | Mix zero latency cue mixing system.

A companion product to the AX32, the DAD DX32 is a low-latency routing interface designed for applications such as multi-room recording studios, post-production facilities and audio distribution installations. It allows all digital input and output routing to be managed within a single unit or a combination of units. The DX32 can be used to expand input/output channel count and to interface digital components. It allows high quality bridging between AES/EBU, MADI, Avid Pro Tools HDX and the Dante IP audio network.

NTP Technology will also highlight the latest version of its Visual Matrix Control (VMC) routing software. VMC is a Windows-based user interface for configuring and managing audio routing audio signals in a variety of formats. All signal levels can be viewed as peak programme meters and individually monitored. Flexible scheduled routing automation can be managed as well as signal-dependent routing. VMC will be demonstrated in a system based on an NTP Penta 720 MADI router with a Blue | NET enabled 635 controller interconnecting an AX32 Eucon-enabled post-production system as well as Dante compliant audio-over-IP devices in a common router structure. The Penta 720 is a compact broadcast audio router which can be configured with a wide range of interface cards such as MADI, AES, analogue, SDI embedder/de-embedder and Dante AoIP.

Mikael Vest, Sales Director, NTP Technology, said: "It is a busy start to the year but a necessary one as these events allow visitors to engage directly with our latest products. That kind of face-to-face discussion helps our customers and is certainly useful for us. We will be demonstrating the DAD AX32 audio converter and DX32 digital audio bridge. Both now come with version 2.0 firmware which adds a lot of extra features."

At BVE 2017, NTP Technology will co-exhibit on stand L45 with HHB Communications, at LLB with Norwegian distributor ProLyd, and at NAB on booth C3851 with US distributor plus24.
