New Show For Mrs Brown's Boys Star

BBC One has announced details of new Saturday night show, All Round To Mrs Brown's. The series stars the cast of hit comedy show Mrs Brown's Boys.

Commissioned by BBC Entertainment and BBC One, the door will see Agnes Brown open the door of her family home to celebrity guests, audience surprises and outrageous stunts – in front of a live studio audience.

All Round to Mrs Brown's will be produced by Hungry Bear Media in conjunction with Brendan O'Carroll's production company BocPix. It was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Director, BBC Content; Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment Commissioning; and Alan Tyler, Commissioning Editor, BBC Entertainment. The show will be executive produced by Dan Baldwin and Andy Price for Hungry Bear Media, and executive produced by Fiona Gibney for BocPix. The series producer will be Toby Brack. The series will transmit later this year.

Brendan O'Carroll, creator, writer and star of Mrs Brown's Boys, said: "The entire cast is excited by this. I think Agnes may be worried that she'll need a bigger kettle to make tea for everyone that's coming round!"

Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content, added: "Bringing one of our biggest comedy stars Mrs Brown to Saturday nights in 2017 with a new entertainment show is going to be full of fun and mischief and totally unpredictable, I can't wait."

Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment Commissioning, commented: "We all agree it's high time some of our bravest celebrities experienced a slice of the world according to Agnes and I can't think of a finer or funnier format to do this in."
