Philips' Platform4 ME Video Player compatible with Windows Mobile

Philips have announced that their Platform4 Micro Edition (ME) video encoding and playback software solution is available for use in Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Smartphone and Pocket PC devices.
The addition of Platform4 Player ME to Windows Mobile software significantly enhances multimedia applications by enabling users to capture and play back high-quality 3GPP-compliant video clips in their handheld devices.
Windows Mobile is the global brand of Microsoft's software for mobile devices such as Smartphones and Pocket PCs. The brand name helps consumers identify and enjoy high-performance applications on handheld devices enabled by the powerful software. With the addition of Platform4 Player ME, Philips may now use the 'Designed for Windows Mobile' logo when merchandising products that employ the combined software solution. Applications bearing the logo are verified to be fully functional on Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Smartphone and Pocket PC devices.
