UK partner in place to boost MITIL 2002
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE based Mangotree Marketing have partnered with MITIL, the Swiss trade event targeted at local and independent broadcasters, to promote the 2002 event to the UK market.
The company, fronted by former Snell & Wilcox Head of Marketing, Nigel Bruce, will look after sponsorship, registration and the creation of tailor-made packages for key industry sectors.
MITIL, which takes place from June 12-15 2002 in Vevey, Switzerland, was conceived to give local, independent broadcasters a forum and meeting place of their own.
President of MITIL, Costa Haralambis, said: “Our intention is to give this sector something purely for them – all the traditional broadcast industry events focus on the big private and public stations – MITIL focuses on the independent. The inaugural 2001 event was a great success, and with the help of Mangotree and other partners around the world, 2002 will be better still”.
The event comprises a number of conference sessions, with a series of supporting seminars, debates and workshops, a programme market where delegates can view and acquire rights to programming, and a technical exhibition. (GB)
