Vimond Secure Streaming Media Europe Awards

Vimond Media Solutions has won two Streaming Media Europe Readers' Choice Awards. The accolades are for Vimond Platform in the Online Video Platform category, and Vimond IO in the Cloud Video Service category.

Vimond Platform is built around a modular service-oriented architecture and enables video service providers to deploy and operate online services. It allows for the management of live and linear television feeds, as well as on-demand video files, associated metadata, users, bundles, business rules, offers and promotional material. It consists of three primary applications – Vimond Control Center, an asset and metadata management interface; Vimond Business Center, which provides functionality for user management and monetization; and Vimond Experience, a suite of consumer-oriented micro-services, application frameworks and reference apps, and video players.

Vimond IO is a cloud-based editing application that enables broadcast and online media journalists, editors and marketers to collaborate and create stories on almost any device. Readily integrated with Vimond Platform, Vimond IO delivers a full set of editing tools, as well as real-time previews and a pool of backend services for prepping and distributing assets to selected destinations. It was recently enhanced to include features and capabilities from Vimond Highlights, a live-to-VOD conversion tool.
