Auction of Lux Centre assets to be held in February
FOLLOWING the closure of The Lux Centre, London, in October of last year, the assets of this centre for film video and the digital arts are due to be auctioned at 12 noon on February 12, 2002.
The sale held by Marriott & Co., Valuers and Auctioneers of Plant & Machinery, will be held at Unit C22 Hastingwood Trading Estate, Harbet Road in North London.
The sale will include two AVID MC1000 XL editing systems and one AVID MC offline XL editing system. A large quantity of mini DV, S-VHS, Hi-8, Betacam and VHS VCR’s and VCP’s including Sony, JVC and Panasonic models will be available, in addition to a large amount of other professional equipment.
