BBC One Announces New Sketch Show

BBC One has unveiled details of a new sketch show that is due to air on the channel later this month.

The show, Walliams & Friend, sees the return of comedian David Walliams to BBC One. Each episode will feature a different guest 'Friend', creating a new double act with Walliams. The famous guest will play a number of characters in a series of sketches and include Harry Enfield, Jack Whitehall, Meera Syal, Miranda Richardson and Sheridan Smith. There will also be a Christmas special with actor Hugh Bonneville.

The support cast includes Morgana Robinson, Mike Wozniak and Jason Lewis.

Walliams & Friend is filmed on location and in front of a live studio audience.
