Altered Images enters next phase of ongoing development
ALTERED Images have recently made two high profile appointments to explore and develop fast expanding business sectors and enlarge on the services provided to all their clients.
Broadcast specialist Dean McGeer has joined from broadcast systems house TSL as business development manager. Based in the D’Arblay Street offices, his responsibilities include driving the new partnership with Pinnacle Systems, as well as covering core business with Avid. He will also be working with broadcasters and post houses all over the country.
McGeer said: "Altered Images have developed an exciting partnership with Pinnacle, to complement their established Avid business. They have a forward looking and successful business, big factors in my decision to join and something I can build on."
In a second move, designed to reinforce their strong links in the corporate communications markets, Altered Images have recruited new front line sales talent. Tim Donovan is primarily concerned with providing sales consultancy for the multi-million pound boardroom and corporate installations sector. Working with established partners like JVC, Panasonic, Sanyo and Medium, Tim will specialise in office and boardroom presentation systems following up the work done with CineUK, Hyperion and others in 2001.
Donovan said: "It's great to be joining such a dynamic and successful organisation. I am looking forward to overseeing a big increase in our corporate business in 2002."
Commenting on the new appointments, Sales Director David Johnson said: "These appointments reflect our increasing commitment to broadcast, post and the corporate sector and allow us to take advantage of the new opportunities the partnership with our core suppliers provides.
"Dean has a wealth of experience with broadcasters and Tim brings a lot of energy and commitment to a sector which we wish to expand into."
