Skaramoosh complete work on BBC docudrama

SKARAMOOSH have just completed the titles and digital effects for the BBC flagship programme 'Smallpox 2002: Secret Weapon', directed by Dan Percival and produced by Simon Chinn for Wall to Wall Television.
This is an arresting, high profile dramatised documentary, that Skaramoosh were delighted to have been associated with. Set in the near future, about a large-scale bio-terrorist attack, the weapon is one of mankind’s most lethal viruses: smallpox.
As well as the titles, seamless and invisible effects were created for a number of key sequences in the programme - for example, recreating news broadcasts from around the world - which created a more cohesive, filmic feel throughout the programme.
The titles were designed by John Cryer, while the digital effects were created by Viv Jim, John Cryer and Aries Brooker on Avid DS and Shake under the direction of Andrew Hunter, Skaramoosh’s Digital Effects Director.
'Smallpox 2002: Secret Weapon' airs on February 5 on BBC2 at 9pm.
