Noise industries Visual Effects Development Partner DVShade Wins Award

Noise industries, developer of visual effects tools for the post production and broadcast markets, have announced that development partner DVShade has won Microfilmmaker's Award of Superiority for the new EasyLooks version 2.5, a FxFactory powered plug-in.
FxFactory powered FxPacks are designed by Noise Industries and their development partners to extend the visual effects capabilities of Adobe After Effects CS3/CS4, Apple Final Cut Studio and Apple Final Cut Express applications.
Niclas Bahn, Director of Business Development at Noise Industries, said: "I would like to thank our development partner DVShade for producing another phenomenal update and Microfilmmaker's Mark Bremmer for recognising their efforts and creative energies.
"User feedback has been incredibly positive for the release. The variety and depth of EasyLooks colour correction tools allow for a precise, yet easy achievement of realistic looks, without the requirement of multiple applications."
A former developer of Apple Final Cut FxScript plug-ins, DVShade founder Trevor Anderson has worked with graphics programming for over a decade. He began developing plug-ins using the FxFactory Plug-in Manager after joining the Noise Industries development partner program in 2008. Anderson credits the quick and efficient development of his plug-ins to FxFactory. Anderson said: "The FxFactory platform is incredibly flexible enabling us to engineer high-performing visual effects applications that deliver superior image quality. Version 2.5 incorporates significant improvements across the board. Increased speed and a feature rich colour correction palette gives editors and visual effects artists the freedom and power to take on just about any colour correction project - whether it be film, TV or documentary - with outstanding results."
Microfilmmaker reviews are scored based on the breakdown of four cateogries: ease of use, depth of options, performance and value versus cost. In his review, industry veteran Mark Bremmer gave EasyLooks version 2.5 an overall 10/10; prompting the award's conveyance. Bremmer said: "If you are a pro or experienced user with your editing package, you can accomplish any and everything DVS does using various combinations of tools. It's the last three words of the preceding sentence that are worth looking at. EasyLooks brings these multiple capabilities into a single tool."
