Vidchecker Added To Editshare Flow 


EditShare has selected Vidcheck's Vidchecker file-based quality assurance solution for integration with its Flow production asset management platform.

EditShare's Flow provides a media asset management platform for creative control of all files during the production process, including 4K and remote editorial workflows. Flow will tag, organise and manage media, improving efficiency and multiplying productivity. Flow Automation is able to automate complex and repetitive workflow tasks including transcoding. With AirFlow, it is possible to remotely access media on a shared storage system for editorial/review, increasing the opportunities for creative development outside the boundaries of a facility. The Flow platform includes server-based modules as well as Apple OS X, Microsoft Windows, and web client applications to create a complete palette of production tools.

Designed for checking and repairing file-based video, audio and related metadata before and after distribution, Vidchecker is used to ensure that the metadata, video and audio parameters and levels of media files received by broadcasters from postproduction companies and content owners are correct for general transmission. It can automatically and intelligently correct video and audio levels, including peak audio attenuation, and perform automatic video segment detection. Sub-SD, SD, HD, UHD, 4K, 8K and mixed workflows are supported.
