Discreet ships Particle Flow tools for 3ds max 5.1

Discreet have announced the availability of its new Particle Flow Extension software for 3ds max customers registered under the Discreet Subscription Program.
Discreet animators who create effects for game cinematics, films, and sophisticated design visualisations now have particle flow tools integrated into 3ds max software for the creation of realistic fountains, fog, snow, splashes, contrails, explosions and other environmental effects.
The Particle Flow Extension is an integral addition to the 3ds max modelling, animation and rendering tools that include internal forces, deflectors, materials, MAXscript, the 3ds max renderer, and most 3rd party rendering solutions. Designed by Discreet, Particle Flow is available to 3ds max customers as a component of the Discreet Subscription Program, a component of the Autodesk Subscription Program. Along with standard maintenance downloads, program members receive valuable software "extensions", online learning tools, and specialised educational material.
To date, 3ds max subscription members have received Design Extension tools (for design visualisation); the Shockwave® Extension (ability to output in the Shockwave Format); e-learning material; and now the much-anticipated Particle Flow Extension. Based on an annual fee, the Subscription Program is an easy, automated way for 3ds max customers to keep their animation tools up-to-date.
