Guide For New Industry Creatives Published
A new guide for entrants into the UK's creative industries has been published. The book, Breaking Into UK Film and TV Drama, has been written by industry insider Matt Gallagher – founder of thecallsheet.co.uk – and offers advice and tips on how to break into the business and build a sustainable career.
The guide also includes contributions and advice from organisations such as AMPAS, BAFTA, Creative Skillset, Film London and WFTV, as well as Oscar and BAFTA-winning talent including Amma Asante (director, A United Kingdom), Steven Hall (VFX DoP, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Rebecca O'Brien (Producer, I, Daniel Blake).
Matt Gallagher said: "I wanted to create a wide ranging and comprehensive book that will be of real, practical use to new entrants. Breaking into UK Film and TV Drama contains everything you need to know to kick start your successful career in this industry."
