Aurora Completes EU Live Debate Project

Aurora recently completed work on the BBC's televised live debate ahead of referendum on the UK's membership of the EU.

Held at the SSE Wembley Arena, representatives from the Leave and Remain camps debated in front of a 6,000-strong audience.

Working closely with Lighting Designer Gurdip Mahal, Aurora helped deliver the live experience with a range of equipment spread across two main stage areas, as well as keeping the audience in the picture.

Martin MAC Viper Performance and Washes added strong tones to the production, with Viper AirFX providing extra versatility. 60 Clay Paky Mythos fixtures were also included with their beam properties, while GLP XA XLs were placed throughout the arena to bathe the venue in colour. To complement the deep hues, tungsten Fresnels were used to provide warmth to the interview area with ETC Source Fours cutting through the colour wash.
