'The Border' To Receive Channel 4 Premiere
Channel 4 has announced that 'The Border' will receive its premiere on the channel later this month.
Set in border guard unit specialising in detecting human-traffickers on the extreme border of the EU between Poland and Ukraine, the six-part series is the first Polish drama to be broadcast on UK terrestrial television.
In the isolated Bieszczady Mountains, a unit specialising in protecting the border from people-traffickers becomes the target of a bomb attack. The Captain, Rebrow, is the only survivor. Injured and upset at the loss of his friends and girlfriend, he is also suspected of masterminding the tragedy. The series follows Rebrow as he begins his own investigation to clear his name and find out who is responsible, uncovering a dark political plot.
Episode one will premiere later this month with the rest of the series immediately available to view in full, free, exclusively on WalterPresents.com Walter Presents is Channel 4's foreign language on-demand service, which is available free in the UK, via Channel 4's digital hub, All 4.
