'Bizarre ER' Heads To E4

E4 has confirmed it is to air 10-part series Bizarre ER later this year.

The 10x60' series will look at some of the most extreme, strange and unusual casualties arriving at four hospitals in the UK – Basingstoke, Dudley, Newport (Isle of Wight) and Warwick.

The episodes will follow the patients' story – from the moment they arrive in A&E to surgery and even suppressed laughter.

The series is due to air in Autumn 2016 and is produced by Maverick TV. Shannon Delwiche is Series Editor. It has been commissioned for E4 by Formats Commissioning Editor Simone Haywood and Dom Bird, Head of Formats.

The new Bizarre ER promises to combine the much-loved access to patients and staff with E4's unmistakeable personality."
