Pro8mm launch new 16mm camera and film

Pro8mm have introduced a new and highly evolved standard 16mm camera and custom load film.
The new Classic Sixteen is a professional motion picture camera, remanufactured at the company’s Burbank facility. It is a standard 16mm camera that can accommodate both 16mm and Super 16mm film. Available in a rich, scratch resistant hammered bronze finish, it has a textured, stylish, updated look. While the camera can accommodate Super 16mm film, however, it is not a Super 16mm camera, and will not produce the same results.
In addition to the camera, Pro8mm are now offering their own brand of 16mm film. Available in a wide range of stocks, the standard 16mm film hosts the traditional perforations on both edges of the stock, yielding a square image for a television aspect ratio of 1:33, while the Super 16 has the single edge perforations that in a super 16mm camera produce a widescreen rectangular image of a 1:66 aspect ratio. The stock is spooled onto 100’ camera loads and is sold with prepaid processing.
