Management buyout of EAF completed

THE existing management of European Asset Finance (EAF) have purchased the leasing company, including European Broadcast Finance (EBF), from their former parent company VFG PLC.
The management team comprising John Mulheron (Managing Director), Stephen Labrum (Commercial Director) and Gary Thompson, (Group Sales Manager) will further develop their already successful UK and European vendor finance activities within the broadcast, print and telecom sectors with a special emphasis being placed on new finance products aimed at providing each of their vendors with a competitive sales advantage.
Middlesex based EAF, formerly VFG Finance, commenced trading in March 1997 and under one of their trading styles, EBF have become a leading provider of finance to the broadcast/media industry.
European Print Finance have been trading since 1999 and are highly regarded within the UK print industry. Their newest division, European Telecom Finance, started in 2001 and are already secured several important vendor programmes.
In addition to writing leasing business on their own paper, EAF will continue to introduce business to UK and European banks and finance companies.
In the year 2000/2001 EAF placed in excess of £25m.
