Wire Broadcast For The Farm Project

Wire Broadcast has been undertaking the technical installation at The Farm's new prestigious site at Newman Street, London. Wire has worked with The Farm on a number of occasions in the past, notably on its premises, called William, in 2014.

The new building is set to house over 70 edit suites, offline, online and grading. Each room will include a custom audio monitoring solution designed and supplied by Wire and manufactured by Sonifex.

The box has been designed to cover all the edit suite audio requirements in a single solution. As well as standard features such as volume, input selection, cut, dim and headphones, the unit also offers an integrated, switchable audio delay for system timing.

Robin Howell of Wire said: "It's very rare to be involved in a post-production project of this magnitude. The scale of the project has allowed us to provide bespoke solutions that fit perfectly into the system. Designing this audio solution has been a great project for us and Sonifex has been a critical part of it."
