SGO To Demo Mistika HDR Workflow At BVE

News Image
SGO has announced it will partner with Canon at this year's BVE 2016 and demonstrate the latest advancements being made in HDR technology.

At stand L30, Mistika will lead an end-to-end HDR 4K 'Glass-to-Glass' colour process workflow demonstration. Mistika is a post platform, adopted by a number of major league companies and used on various projects including Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams. The Mistika system integrates grading, finishing and compositing in real-time, including at 4K 60P and beyond.

Tanya Walker, Marketing Manager, SGO, said: "Attendees at the show can discover how SGO's strategy for delivering a complete post solution can solve their specific challenges today and in the future. The Canon HDR-Mistika presentation is an excellent way to highlight the entire process in game-changing technology."

"Canon wants to help businesses find the best way of working with technology at their fingertips," commented Austin Freshwater, Director, Professional Imaging at Canon UK. "At BVE, SGO will join us on the stand to give live demonstrations of their Mistika post-production platform using footage captured live with Canon's industry-leading Cinema EOS cameras and displayed on Canon's outstanding 4K professional Reference Displays. This way, visitors to the stand can see all the technology being used in an actual workflow environment, and understand how it can make a positive impact on their creativity."

"SGO is driven to equip creative artists with indispensable tools that make them stand out from the crowded mass market products. BVE provides an ideal opportunity to showcase these revolutionary capabilities, and we are proud that Canon will be placing Mistika in the limelight at this key UK event," added Geoff Mills, SGO Group's Director of Global Sales and Operations
