McMillan open Birmingham office
McMillan, the leading solutions provider to the broadcast, post-production and presentation markets, have announced the expansion of their regional network with the opening of a Birmingham office on October 1.
Located in the renovated Birds Eye Custard Factory, the Birmingham office will service the flourishing media business in the Midlands and Central England.
The Birmingham office is part McMillan’s customer focused philosophy and will replace the Leeds office, which is consolidated into the Manchester office in Haydock, to provide more evenly spread geographical coverage of the UK. The Birmingham office will be managed by Marise Plater, who joined McMillan from Sony in 2002. The office will offer a range of services from the company’s Television and Broadcast, Presentation and Hires divisions. Current McMillan customers in this region include Maverick TV, Camera Support Services and Aston University.
Gary Langlands, Sales and Marketing Director of McMillan, commented: “As with all the changes that have been made since McMillan’s re-organisation, this new office will benefit our customers and enable us to provide our range of services from an ideal base in the centre of the country. Our solutions offerings encompassing leading suppliers such as Quantel, Sony, Panasonic Barco and BBC WiScape, which require a local support facility and Birmingham makes us ideally placed to service the entire Midlands community.”
The Birmingham office will join McMillan’s other regional offices in Arbroath, Aberdeen, Belfast, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow, Haydock and Soho.
