Image-Cam provide plug-and-play fibre optic package to Telecast

Image-Cam, specialists in remote control camera systems for sporting and entertainment events, have incorporated Telecast's bidirectional video/data point-of-view (POV) transceivers into a proprietary throw-down system that offers complete plug-and-play robotic camera operation with minimal setup and labour costs.
"Our fibre optic system simplifies POV applications by incorporating all of the video, audio, and data signals; power supplies; and connectors required for HD or composite video POV cameras in just one box," explained Ron Prociw, president of Image-Cam, Inc. "The majority of our jobs are throw-down applications, which have typically been difficult due to a lack of standardisation. With our new system, we can power and have control over all remote and camera functions. In a sense, we have created the missing link."
