IABM Names Sir Ranulph Fiennes As Keynote Speaker

News Image
IABM has announced Sir Ranulph Fiennes as its keynote speaker for the second day of its Annual International Business Conference 2015, which will be held at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel, London, 3–4 December.

The event will bring leading figures from within the broadcast and media technology sector together, as well as the digital entertainment industry and experts from the wider business world, and will see senior level delegates engage in two days of discussion and debate.

Referred to as "the world's greatest living explorer" by The Guinness Book of Records, Sir Fiennes will draw a connection between nature's most dangerous and difficult challenges, and the day-to-day hurdles we all face. His 40 years' experience of battling some of the most dangerous terrains on earth have taught the importance of teamwork, determination, patience, discipline and creative thinking.

John Ive, Director of Technology and Strategic Insight, IABM, said: "This year's theme is 'Virtual becomes Reality' and will focus on the broad spectrum of challenges and opportunities that face the broadcast and media industry, and who better to discuss facing challenges and finding success in the face of adversity than Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

"This year's event features a fantastic line-up across the two dates, and in addition to Sir Ranulph Fiennes, we've got some of the biggest names in the broadcast and media industry speaking at the conference. They'll be addressing the unprecedented period of change the industry is experiencing, taking a look at both the impact on technology and business."

Tickets for the conference are now available. Further information can be found via the IABM website.
