SGL announce two new appointments
Software Generation Ltd (SGL) have appointed Paul Shonfeld as EMEA Sales Manager and Phil Bettison as Broadcast Technical Consultant, in response to market demands for their digital archiving software solution FlashNet.
Prior to joining SGL, Shonfeld held the position of EMEA Sales Manager at WebWare, a Digital Asset Management company specialising in rich media asset management aimed at enterprise marketing companies. He also spent four years at Ampex as EMEA Manager, focusing on broadcast and post production archive systems. It was here that Shonfield was first introduced to FlashNet.
Commenting on his appointment at SGL, Shonfeld said: "I see the FlashNet product as key to broadcast and post production archives. No other product has the ability to link seamlessly to so many other applications; it really is showing a lead in the market."
Phil Bettison who will be responsible for planning, installation and support of FlashNet broadcast systems. Bettison brings a wealth of experience as he was previously Principal Technical Specialist with Professional Services Sony SBE where he supported Sony archive and data storage systems.
Bettison said: "I joined SGL to work with the 'best of breed' archive systems."
